Cheeba Chews Review: A

Cheeba Chews are a sticky taffy-like candy edible. They come in a variety flavors, such as:

• Sativa - 70mg THC
• Indica - 70mg THC
• Hybrid - 70mg THC
• Deca Dose (a 2.5x dosage the Hybrid) - 175mg THC
• THC/CBD - 50mg THC, 20mg CBD
• Pure CBD - 2mg THC, 50mg CBD

Long story short, I really like Cheeba Chews and they are currently my favorite edible because their dosages and flavors are very reliable and consistent. I've eaten dozens of their candies, and I have tried every varietal except for the Deca Dose.

Optimal dosage depends on your body weight and tolerance

Even though the wrapped says "quad-dose," I am an adult male weighing 160lbs, and I find that eating 1/3 to 1/2 of a candy gives me a very pleasant, long lasting buzz.

If I take too little, I just get a dazed feeling in my head. If I take too much, I will knock out and sleep like a log until next morning.

I have learned that it is best to eat Cheeba Chews on an empty stomach. On an empty stomach, I start to feel the effects within 30 to 45 minutes. On a full stomach, hours can go by with no perceptible change.

Sativa

My favorite Cheeba Chews are the green sativa ones, because the buzz is very clearminded, stimulating, and energetic. I personally like to eat 1/3 of Cheeba Chews before going to the gym. It makes working out much more exciting and fulfilling.

Hybrid

The hybrid feels much like the sativa one, except it is more laid-back and with a subtle body buzz.

Indica

I personally don't like Indicas in general, whether its the herb or edible, because I get severe couch-lock.

Pure CBD

The Pure CBD Cheeba Chews caught my eye because they say "Non-Psychoactive" on the box. It contains 50mg of CBD and only 2mg of THC.

CBD stands for cannabidiol, and it is supposedly useful for patents with chronic pain. I do not suffer from chronic pain, so I felt absolutely no effects from this varietal, even when I ate an entire Pure CBD candy, so I don't buy this variety anymore.

But people who suffer from chronic pain may find this flavor useful since it offers pain relief without the psychoactive feelings of THC.

THC/CBD

I have mixed feelings about this flavor, because CBD tends to counteract the psychoactive effects of THC. The buzz from this one feels more grounded and relaxed. I would not get this one again because CBD doesn't seem to do anything for me personally.

Pros

• From my experience, the dosages are reliable and consistent.
• On an empty stomach, you start to feel the effects within 30 minutes
• Dosages are compact. Easy carry a weeks-worth of supply in your pocket.
• Packaging is discreet.

Cons

• The taffy really sticky so it will stick to your teeth.
• The foil wrapper is thin and rips apart easily when you are trying to open it. And bits of foil get stuck to the taffy. In other words, the packaging material is kinda cheap.
