Focus on Favorite Clothing
Hang up old favorite clothing that you can look at often throughout the day. Salt keep your eye on the prize, which in effect, should be to where that favorite old skin once again. However, choose not and that is just a little bit too snug, this way you will be able to reach your goal in a shorter period of time.

Pass on the Bacon
Pass on those strips of bacon at breakfast or skip adding them to your sandwich at lunch. This is a simple move that saves about 100 calories every time – and can contribute to losing 10 pounds in a year. Substitute healthier flavored foods such as sliced tomatoes, various peppers like banana and roasted or some grainy mustard and perhaps some type of light spread such as herb-spiced goat cheese.

Pizza Can Be Better
Choose vegetable instead of meat toppings so you can eliminate 100 calories per pie. There is more clever pizza trickery like easing up in the cheese or using low-fat or reduced cheese and choose thin, bread-based crusts with but a hint of olive oil.

Drink it Wisely
Every time you replace a sugary drink like regular carbonated soda with water or no-calories seltzer, you can eliminate up to 10 spoons of sugar. Try adding lime, lemon or even frozen strawberries to water for flavored no calorie fun.

Tall for Thin
Instead of using that monster-truck sized gallon jug for your favorite beverage, substitute with a tall – and skinny – glass that will cut your liquid intake and your weight as well. This way you will drink at least 25 percent less of what you normally ingest – soda, wine, juice, beer or other beverages. The visual trick convinces the mind that a “full” container of your favorite beverage has been consumed while much less liquid is contained in a tall, skinny beverage glass.
